FAQ

Fair questions, straight answers

How is this different from the free maturity quizzes vendors publish?
Three ways. The framework is published in full, so you can audit what is measured and why. Scores are deterministic and reproducible, not vibes. And confidence is reported separately from maturity, so the report tells you how well-corroborated each score is instead of pretending certainty.
Where do the questions come from?
The 56-question bank is original, written for this framework, and anchored in the practice codified by widely adopted frameworks: the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF 1.0), ISO/IEC 42001, the OECD AI Principles, and the maturity-model tradition of Gartner, the CMU SEI and Accenture AI Adoption Maturity Model, and MITRE. The full mapping is on the methodology page. Anchored does not mean certified: a score here is not a conformity assessment against any standard.
Does an AI decide my score?
No. The AI interviewer clarifies questions and explains findings, but scoring is deterministic code applying versioned rules to your answers. The same answers always produce the same score.
What do I get for free, exactly?
The Snapshot: a 5-7 minute assessment producing a provisional overall score, a six-pillar summary with a confidence indicator, and three priority observations. An email address is needed only if you want to save or receive your results.
Where do the benchmarks come from?
From completed AI Vector assessments, aggregated - and they unlock only once 30 or more comparable organizations are in a cohort. Until then, reports cite clearly labeled external research instead. We never simulate or blend peer data.
Who sees my answers?
You, and the systems needed to run the service. Answers are never training data, never shared, and never visible to other customers in any form other than 30+ aggregates. You can export or delete everything self-service.
Can multiple people from my organization take it?
Today the Professional Diagnostic is single-respondent. Multi-stakeholder assessment - with perception-gap analysis between what leadership believes and what teams experience - is the next major release. Design partners get early access.
